Got the neck from Pete (screambasses) and the body from Frazier (small town music).
It got a major makeover into it, the body was seriously beat up but i manage so save this bass body. I am not an expert doing this kind of stuff but i guess it worked out well!
Still this was my worse refinish job. It looks nice but looking close you can spot a thing here and there but hey, look what it look like before!
It had about 4 paint jobs and a ton of bondo and toothpicks in the screw holes. Steve (our local tech) added a piece of ash in the PU cavity where someone made a hole for a P pickup and cleaned out the other cavities.
Since i suck with electronics i decided to get a pickguard loaded from the stratosphere. I am using Fender American Standard pots, control plate, knobs and the pickups are American Special. I used them before and like them.
Pics of the restoration from beginning to end are here:

Let me know if you guys like it and feel free to point out any mistake!

Maple fretboard, white block inlay, bright body color, jazz bass... I love everything about it!

Also, it has the 70s bridge pickup position, which, for me, along with loving the color/fretboard/inlay, adds intrigue as have never played a jazz with the adjusted bridge pickup position. I would really like to know how that sounds compared to the '60s position.

Now that you've mentioned i noticed that they are different then my other 3 JB. I put it together 2 days ago but last night i was setting up the action and intonation. Gonna try it out soon!
