Hello,

here are pics from a bass that I built this year totally from scratch:

It's my first bass, that I build on my own.
Only the sliced fingerboard, the trussrod and the pickup was bought as it is.
The rest was build by myself. Even the bridge headless-tuners.
And I used only rudimentary powertools (jig saw and drill) and simple tools (rasp, saw, sandpaper).

Unless some expect: no cnc, no router. Just manpower.

Facts:

Maple Neck Through
Alder Body Wings
Weight: 2.5 kg
Scale: 78 cm or 30.7"

plays great, sounds great.

After your description, I was expecting your bass to look far cruder... nice build! I like the body style, and overall, it has a great cool factor... well done... 8-)

Thanks a lot.

The body style is my own design.
Of course inspired by other designs, by not a copy of a particular bass.

I ever thought, if I would build my own bass, then I make something unique that you can't buy.

Never underestimate the power of a rasp and sandpaper combined with enough time and patience. ;-)
