So, I can thank Thomann.de for selling me this baby: A Rockbass Corvette Basic Fretless, with alder body, 3pc maple neck, tigerstripe ebony fretboard, Just-A-Nut II, easy access compartment and a 2-band active EQ. Price: 196€/255$/165£ incl. VAT/shipping to Norway.

She`s just been fitted with DR Hi-Beams Flatwounds.

Wow, that's a long, thin upper bout. Just my luck I'd snap it right off.

It is alder, so that horn will never come off, trust me.

I`ve always wanted to try out a fretless, so this was perfect for me. B-stock, returned from customer, but no scratches or signs of use.

What Charmand said... if that design didn't hold up, it would never have lasted as "long" as it has.... !

Aw, so good to see you here too, Char! :D
Lovely bass. It's become my main instrument when I'm not on the upright.
