I've just finished my first Bass build, using cheap parts from all corners of the world ( there are reasons ). P bass body from the US very light weight not sure what kind of wood maybe pine  body stripped and repainted white. A right handed Jazz neck from Aussieland, quite a good neck may use on a later project. bit and pieces from China and of all places New Zealand. As this is my first go at this I am quite happy with the result, its no oil painting but it does the job. Have used it in a couple of rehearsals plan to use it at the next blues jam. I've learnt a lot on this project and am sure I 'll do better next time. Sorry about photo, shot with my iPad.

Looks good, and if you're happy with the way it sounds and plays, you've got yourself a winner!
