 77 P bass body with 78 J bass neck, TI flats = WOW!!! I'm so excited this is what I've been looking for - fairly light and my favorite neck. It looks a little odd but in a good way the neck pocket isnt the tightest I've ever seen but it wasn't on the original neck either, typical 70's Fender.... Thanks to Frenchy Lefty for being the voice of reason |

 That looks killer. I had a '78 P body married to a '78 J neck before. Looked just like yours except the board was maple. Loved that bass. Sold it because I'm an idiot. |

Totally gorgeous!...... I bet it will confuse a few folks if you leave the "Jazz Bass" decal on the headstock

I play my first set of shows with it this weekend! I think this is the only bass I'm going to be playing for a long time! |
