You can contact RIC to swap that righty TRC if you so desire.

That is odd. I've never seen a lefty Ric with a righty reading name plate before. I wonder if it's non-original? Usually when they use the righty headstocks/necks on lefties they use a righty name plate but etch the logo to still read right side up:

That's an original 1969-1970-1971 JB and that's must be an original Rick 4001 from 1979. I think Rick is used to mount LH basses with the stock they have. That's not a big industrial process... So my bass has a totally right handy neck/headstock, with a left handed body. Look at Paul Mc Cartney Rick Collection, you'll find some. Actually rick made a bunch of different LH basses... ;)

Do you mean that rick would "offer" me a TRC (Tus Rod Cover?)right handed with left handed writting ? That could be interesting ? But I though Rick asn't answering mails...

Nice to say you back here !!! I've already send you a message in 2008 on your rick picture. You're collection is f...king amazing. How are you managing to play all your basses ?;)

Well, I would be very interested in having the same HSC as your rick 4001.
