Here are some pictures of my latest build. It features an alder body with flame maple top, finished in blueburst, a wenge neck with unlined ebony fretboard, a Nordstrand Big Blademan pickup in the MM sweetspot position, a Hipshot FM1 A-style bridge and Hipshot HB3 tuners. The bass sounds very punchy and well-defined. The Big Blademan definately was a good choice.
Happy with the result!

I love the elegant simplicity.

How do you like the wenge neck? I've enjoyed the wenge necks I've played, but didn't bond with the basses that had them.

Thanks! It's smoother than I expected. It feels quite heavy though. My Warwick Corvette had a wenge neck and this feels similar but has another profile obviously.

Love the concept of just a volume knob. Leaves your hands to totally shape the sound.

Warmoth ought to have a pic of that on their site--that's fantastic. I always wondered how the blueburst would look, and with that neck--gorgeous. Congrats.

I love the Volume only as I usually use the amp to shape the tone.

Question what is the switch control?

That is a series/parallel switch!
