So are these basses the holy grail of left handed Ibanez?
Probably! Rumour has it only around 250 lefty MC924's were built, making them quite rare. These are very high-quality instruments, built like a tank with very modern features for its time. Active onboard EQ was still very special back then, Ibanez and Music Man were probably among the first mass-produced active basses. And these have two tuned steel rods in the neck to eliminate dead spots and wolf tones, which was quite unusual for its time. I love them!
They're not the rarest of lefty Ibanez instruments though. Try finding the guitar version, or an original production AS200, or old 5-string 800-series Soundgears, ATK305, and the incredibly rare Axstar
