almost all of you know I play anything right or left, so when this unit came around I just had to say HELL YA!
I had a 88 lavacrackle for years but this thing came around, and a friend of mine has wanted my lava for a long time so he now has it.

this is the most hideous, ugly, disgusting, strange, super-80's as you can get guys.....
so ugly that it has no wear at all on it..just another "let's play it for 10 gigs and put it in the case for 20 something years" unit.

.
They had it on the rack at the PA Wilkes-Barre MGR store for almost a year and nobody played it, and they said all people did was say how ugly it was and laugh at it. They dropped the price so low I couldn't say no for the Charvel collection.

it has been a while since I posted in my thread and since my collection always changes, sometimes more basses, sometimes less. I found another Lefty Charvel model2 in black..

I got it really cheap as nobody else bid on it...why? because everyone else but me hates pointyheads... ( not that there is anything wrong with that ) damn shame because my burgandymist unit will sell for peanuts if I tried to sell it today :(
Looks like I won't ..lol I Pm'ed the seller and told him to keep the crate amp and sell it or throw it in the garbage cause I don't want it and the shipping charge will obviously go down for just the bass.

and since this IS a lefty board despite me looking for rightys as well, here's another one that I got this week for 100 bucks. A little rough, but perfectly playable and might get used as a project bass......

so now I have a white, black and champagne charvel model2's.

time to get rid of something...lol

thank you very much dude for yet another "amimbari special" << it's called cheap guitars that rock!
I'll be jamming on it tonight despite the E string being on top since I don't have a righty nut laying around.

haha there you go Austin :) I would have kept my gsr200 if it wasnt FM:

I actually think the pickups arent bad. Quiet enough for gigs, but not for recording purposes, and I have enough recording noiseless basses so I dont care.

the thing balances perfectly the neck is silky and as i was chatting with the guy who i got it from, he bought it for his son, and the kid never played it. ( looks that way - not a mark on it anywhere and it came in a nice bag ).

however I still have a dual rail - j spare that I took back out of the gsr200 when I sold it and it will go in the neck pickup slot to compare it to that OEM, and probably a jackson preamp somewhere down the line because I got to boost the gain on my preamp pretty high to get any volume out of it compared to my passive charvels.
