the VRB™ model is significantly updated for 2016

lefty units are available as a dealer custom order at the same pricing as righty units.

standard specs:

4-string models
- 34" scale bolt-on Maple neck with Maple, Rosewood, or Pau Ferro fretboard; 21 frets, carbon fiber stiffening bars, bone nut
- Poplar, Alder, or Swamp Ash body
- Honey Badger pickups
- available in P, J/J, and P/J configurations

added an image of the 4.2 model for body shape comparison. for reference, the 4.1 (P only pickup with V+T controls) and 4.3 (P/J with V+B+T controls) share the same body

there's a lefty VRB5.3 (5-string PJ) commission in my current batch of bodies working their way thru production

This one will have a Maple/Pau Ferro neck, Honey Badger PJ pickups set, passive controls, and one of the new Hipshot KickAss 5-string bridges. More images to come ...

progress continues: hand sculpting completed, and initial sanding begun. wiped with a bit of naphtha to highlight how this will look with its clear satin finish

neck blank is ready for carving up. here's the rear contour right after it was cut on the CNC. there's still a ton of work to go ...

I've never seen a neck carved out of a single block of wood like this... this is SO Cool! :)
