Since I've been watching/listening everyone elses' posts lately, I figured I would post two of my own:

Soundpool - "My Ethereal Daydream"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZtHrNP17Cw
these are the visuals that play behind us when we do this song live

Gaijin A Go-Go - "Go-Go #55"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EY8gvNQrRb8
shameless plug - they played this song on the PA in Yankee Stadium

Enjoy!

Nice variety of music. I like it.

That first track reminds me a little of Stereolab, whom I love. What exactly did you do on it? I don't hear "bass" in the traditional sense.

That second track is fun too. Normally I'd be screaming for more shots of the bassist, but with all that cheerleading eye candy I'm more than satisfied. ;)

Thanks! There's definitely lots of bass on that first track but, as I mentioned on another thread, I love effects. The intro and middle eight are chords but played backwards in Pro-Tools. The verses are filled with delay. Only the choruses are dry. I used an Epiphone Viola for that song. The second track is filled with effects too (leslie simulator, distortion, auto-wah I think) but yeah, it's a much more traditional part.

Very creative.
What'd you do to get those jazzy/spacy drums in the first track? Is that a live drummer with delay?

Thanks, it's the basic-level consumer drum machine from Zoom. No humans playing drums on that track at all.

Dude I love it. I was totally seeing tracers by the end of "daydream". I do think your bass should be pumped up in the mix though. It's a killer part. Great job. :ugeek:
