So my classic rock band got to play at the biggest rock club in Honolulu last Friday night, a place called Pipeline Cafe'. It holds about two thousand people, and is where I've seen acts like The Doors, Los Lobos, Fishbone, etc. Got to play through an SVT on top of an Ampeg 8x10. Now I know why this rig is the standard on most tours!

Here's a video of us doing "Lola" by the Kinks, and this is the first time I played an entire show on my Ibanez ATK300L. Usually play my custom 5-string, so it was fun re-thinking some of my parts on the 4-string.

We don't get a chance to play on stages like this very often, so it was a real treat to be Rock Gods for a little while...

Nice! Your drummer does a great Dave Davies for the harmonies...

Nice Job! I really like the way the ATK gets picked up by the camera. It really stands out.

Watched the Born to Run vid also. I like the way you guys pull it off. I've tried to convince lots of bands I've played in that a 4 piece can do it. Now I gots me some proof!

Yeah, I'm getting a lot of compliments on the looks and sound of the ATK. And I'm glad you were able to look past the aoudio on Born To Run. Lola was recorded two weeks later with the audio in automatic mode. We played Born to Run that night too, but not sure if our friend video'd the whole set. We're the only band around here that plays that song, and it always gets a big response. It took a fair amount of practices to get the song tight, especially the walkdown to the big break... I say go for it!
