Here's the MySpace for my now defunct band, TECHNOCRACY.

http://www.myspace.com/technocracy

It's metal to the max, so if you don't like that kind of music, you might wanna steer clear.

The most "bass friendly" song on the MySpace page is "How We Die." Definitely a fun tune to play. If you like it, let me know and I'll get you a rip of the whole album for FREE.

The guitarist, Phil Demmel, used to play in the 80's thrash-metal band VIO-LENCE, and now plays for Grammy Nominated, Machine Head, who toured with Metallica this past summer and were featured in Guitar Hero "Metallica Edition." The drummer, Mark Hernandez, also played for VIO-LENCE and now plays for FORBIDDEN.

We were signed to Mausoleum Recods in Europe, but they totally ripped us off... shortly later, the band broke up.

Anyway... it was fun while it lasted.

Enjoy!

I read the bio - intense stuff. I totally remember that early 2000s "black hole" over anything that was deemed even slightly controversial. :x

I'm not a metal guy - and I listened and rocked to every song! Sent it to a Metalhead friend of mine to enjoy. Sorry to read you came so close to grabbing the brass ring... it's tough when you're a victim of the times, through no fault of your own. I hope you're still shreddin' it somewhere!

Send me a link for the rip - I'll bite!

I used to listen to Violence (Opressing the Masses), and saw Machine Head awhile back when they came to Philly with Corrosion of Conformity, I think that may have also been the Misfits reunion with the alternate singer. Many great shows at the Trocedero, Philadelphia PA :!:

Hehe, I immediately recognized that intro riff, it's now in "Clenching The Fists Of Dissent" by Machine Head :D
Sounds great, I'd like the link to that album rip too :)

It's really good stuff.. (not that I would expect anything less from a bay area metal band). Addison is a good bassist and glad he is doing well out of the bay area metal scene.
