Great bass from Schecter, I like everything about it except the nut width. It is P size and I am much more comfortable with a J size.
So if you have a J plus and want to exchange for my P plus (no other exchange please), let me know!
Otherwise for sale:
- In overall good condition.
- Some varnish missing on top of head stock.
- Additional holes in the back of head stock (tried some gold colored tuners for some time, now back to originals, but holes still there).
- Bridge has been changed to the Omega bridge (same weight, measurements, performance and look as BadAss).
- Sounds phenomenal!
- Great features (rotary knob + push/pull volume).
Rotary knob positions:
Position 1- Bridge Pickup
Position 2- Bridge & Neck in 'Parallel'. This is the normal side by side wiring method for two bass pickups. This position retains brilliance and additional clarity on the high end.
Position 3- Bridge & Neck in 'Series'. This humbucker wiring method adds 30% Output compared to 'Parallel' adding a fuller, and more powerful sound. Taking the SMB-4D and Quarter Pound SPB-3 pickup, both massive on their own, and then selecting the 'Series' position you get a Superbucker with enough torque to kick start a 10,000hp Dragster. Inspiring and groundbreaking in tone.
Position 4- Neck Pickup

I would like to get $450 for the bass and $25.00 for shipping (real cost is $50-60, just shipped one yesterday...).
If you know this bass, it is a steal...
