I hate to do that but I currently have 2 acoustic basses so this one will have to go to a new home.
Very fun to play with and it sounds really great, ask Tim, he has one!
Just put a fresh set of La Bella flats and haven't played it after.
Nice low action.
Selling it for $140 shipped here, it is much cheaper than any other one for sale on Ebay or Reverb and the strings alone where $34.
This is less than what I paid for it plus the strings. Just want to put out a good deal and find a new home for it.

I also have one of these and will be playing it tomorrow night at a hootenanny.

You're over in Cambridge, right? How low would you go for a local pickup if I stopped by with cash? I'm hesitant to buy anything simply because I've been so busy that I've barely played all year and I feel bad for the basses I have sitting in the basement. But then again, I don't have an acoustic and I may get lucky and lose two or three of my jobs.

Paulo, are the LaBella strings a light gauge? Hate to put flats on acoustics if the tension is too high...

Thanks Paulo, it plays and sounds great, and my kid can't go pulling the wires out and turning the amp on and off on me. Awesome price and service, too, delivered right to my door, and in perfect shape with better strings than a new one would have come with!

45-105.
I have a heavy hand and anything thinner than that would feel too flimsy and rattle all over if I try to keep the action low.

Isn't it great to be chord free?? :)

An acoustic bass is perfect for an overworked father of young kid[s]. Currently debating with my wife about putting up a wall hanger in the bathroom. (For the kids' bath time.)

If you don't like the strings, I have the lightest set of Chromes on both of my acoustics and they're great.

The flats are definitely an upgrade in my opinion. I still haven’t had a chance to plug it in, but it’s plenty loud acoustically and has excellent tone. I’m a bit claw handed myself so no need to bother putting chromes on.

Hey, Hans (or anyone else). Can you elaborate on that for me? What does claw-handed mean and how does that relate to the strings? I understand Chromes are a bit brighter than typical flat wounds, although I have never tried them, myself.
