I have a P-Bass that I put together from new, all-original, high-quality parts. This is the list:
-2013 MIA body, bought new from Stratosphere Parts
-2013 MIA
JAZZ BASS neck (1.5" width nut), bought new from Stratosphere Parts
-Dimarzio P pickups
(I'm also including an original '60s Custom Shop P-Bass pickup)-USA Hipshot Ultralite tuners with D-tuner on the E string
-Current MIA bridge, neck plate and pickguard.
-Dunlop Straplocks installed
-Elixir light gauge strings
The bass is setup to perfection. No high frets, super low action, incredibly huge, punchy and clear sound from the Dimarzio pickup. It is super light and balanced, maybe just over 8 lb. It has been one of the main basses in my rotation during the last two years, but it has minimal signs of wear (I take good care of my basses). Maybe just a few swirls on the paint and pickguard here and there, but no nicks or scratches. The frets still look new.
This is the perfect bass for somebody looking for a comfortable P-Bass that can be played for hours, with low action and a huge sound. And obviously, a big plus for those who prefer 1.5"-width nuts. And I personally love the Mystic Blue color with the tortoise pickguard. In my opinion, this is the ultimate modern MIA P-Bass.
Comes with a nicely padded gig bag in perfect condition, and I'm throwing in a Fender T wrench 3/16" to adjust the neck. Will be shipped in a normal-size bass cardboard box (50x18x7) so shipping weight will probably be dimensional.
Please PM me for an accurate shipping quote.
I have about $1100 in it. I hope that
$875 plus shipping is fair enough, given all the extras. Feel free to tell me otherwise. Don't hesitate to PM me with any questions. Sorry, no trades.
Thanks
