This is a 62 Fender Japan Reissue black body with slightly aged white pickguard. Larry at Wooden Wizard Guitars bolted a maple/maple jazz MightyMite neck that had fretwork done by Stephen at CEG Hardtails as well as a new GraphTech nut. Pickup is a Nordstrand NP4 and knobs are wired lefty however could benefit from being wired righty as the volume rotation will be more gradual. Lefty or inverse pots might even be a better upgrade. Tone cap is an Orange Drop and hardware is all Hipshot. Bass just needs a string tree and a setup to your liking and it is ready to go !! Very nice condition. There is no wear on those frets and neck responds well to truss adjustments. $500 or best offer. Also happy to split shipping within the US only. Thanks for looking !

Hate to put this one on the bay. I'd much rather see it go here. Please make an offer if you are interested. I am moving to another location in the area and trying to take as little as possible hence letting some basses go. Thanks for looking and any future offers !! |

Looks almost just as badass as that black-maple Jazz.. What does it weigh and how is the balance with that neck? |

Thanks for the message ! Balance is good with the neck due to the lightweight Hipshot tuners. It's on the medium to lighter side for a P-bass. I don't have a scale but it is one of my lighter basses. Those MightyMite necks are pretty light on their own. It's on the bay but please make an offer !! Would MUCH rather sell here on TB. I have a string tree for it as well which is a brand new black 3-string bar tree to throw in. I might also be up for throwing in a maple P-bass neck that was drilled for 5 string. It works great as a 4 though requires bolts vs screws which I can supply. The extra P-bass neck has threaded inserts. Free to a good home who buys this one ! Thanks all ! |

I also have this bass in a new gigbag (mostly for shipping protection) and though not an expensive one, a brand new one. |
