I'm not entirely committed to this sale, but I wanted to get it out there to drum up interest and see what happens.

Up for consideration is a Pedulla MVP5...

Image

19mm spacing
Dunlop Dual Design Straplocks
PJ Bartolini Pickups
Proprietary Pedulla electronics made by Bartolini
Mid-boost switch
Figured maple body
3-piece quartersawn maple neck
Ebony Board
Arctic Night finish
Super lightweight Pedulla hardcase (why isn't everyone using these?)
Original gold tuners and bridge included (I swapped out for chrome bridge and chrome Hipshot Ultralights)

$2250 Shipped

These sell for over $5,000 I believe... that's what basscentral.com has them priced at.

Anyway, this bass is incredible... sounds amazing... I sincerely love it... but I need to invest in a new laptop for my design business. I know... selling a bass to buy a computer is absolute madness, but this bass has not been in playing rotation for 6 months and is tying up some cash... so I'm thinking about letting it go.

Let me know if there is interest... if I don't get any serious bites on it in the next couple of weeks, I'll probably pull it and reconsider.

This is what they sound like, in case you don't know:

DAMN!!!

This bass is now officially for sale... my oven at home also just died, so yeah... when it rains it pours.

Price drop to $2200 shipped, lower 48.

Anyone else can contact me for a shipping quote.

It is a beautiful MVP Addison. I hope it sells fast. I wish my aging hands could support 19mm spacing on a 5 !!

@AzWhoFan: I got the BNF5 fretless. Addison's bass is fretted of course. Damn. If only I'd waited I could have got a Pentabuzz AND Addison's MVP5 for less than the BNF5. Oh well. ;-)

Hi!

If you mean scale length, it's a 34" scale bass, same as a Fender 4-string.

With the nice and flat 15" radius, it's super comfortable to play and incredibly fast... neck is straight and action is low.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

I have some wiggle room on this bass... so hit me up if you want it.

I have seen exactly THREE 5-string Pedulla basses come up for sale in the last 5+ years and this one is the only PJ in this condition with the OHSC.

Let's talk!

I should also say that the only reason I'm selling this is because I have too many basses and need to free up some cash...

So, I appreciate the trade offers I have been getting, but I really need to sell this guy.

Thanks!

There is a little ding on the back of the bass I forgot to mention... it can't be seen in these pics. It's in the finish only and about the size of a pencil lead. It was repaired correctly and won't get any worse, but you can still see it.

9.35 lbs, which is quite light for a Pedulla!

Very nice Chris... Can you adjust the bridge roller saddles to accommodate a 18.3 or 18.5 spacing? Thanks

I couldn't find anything "official" online but I spun the saddle wheel all the way in on the B and G and went halfway to the edge on the E and D and measured with my precision ruler... it was a C hair above 18mm on all strings. I remeasured with my calipers and got about the same.

I can't tell you exactly what it is, just because it's kind of impossible to measure exactly from the middle of one string to the next, but it was close enough to the 18.3-18.5 range to satisfy me.

Beautiful Chris. I thought this bass had gold hardware before...? And you swapped the tuners for Hipshot Ultralites right?
