Howdy all! There have been a lot of basses listed for sale today! Do I detect some re-gifting?

I have decided to put my Hohner B2AV up for sale. It is a great bass. It is light as a feather (as one might guess), plays great, sounds pretty good and is solidly built. And, it is of course great for travel. Usually there is an overhead bin on a plane with some room above the bags, and this guy slides right in.

I'm only selling it because now that I have not only the 4-string version of this bass, but also a travel 6-string headless , this guy really doesn't see any playing time.

It is in great shape. The only imperfections are very slight. They are as follows:
1) It took a spill, and you can see in the pictures on the E string, behind the first and second frets, slight imprints of the string windings in the fretboard.
2) A slight gouge in the second fret behind the D string.
3) I guess the shaft of the tone pot got slightly bent somehow because when the treble tone knob is turned, it can move the bass knob if you don't hold it.

Here are the specs:
34" scale
24 frets
rosewood fretboard
maple through-body neck
maple body wings
9mm string spacing at nut
16mm string spacing at bridge
8 inches wide at widest point
2 passive jazz pickups
active pre-amp with on/off switch (which is nice if the battery dies or you prefer a passive tone)
volume, volume, stacked active treble/bass tone (the tone knobs only function if the pre-amp is on).

With this bass, I will include your choice of a Hohner hard case or a gig bag from headlessusa.com, which is of notably higher quality than the stock Steinberger Spirit gig bag, and the guys at headlessusa.com are great to deal with. The hard case is too big too carry on a plane, but the gig bag can fit into an overhead bin without problem, as I mentioned above.

Also included is a set of brand new double-ball Rotosound steel roundwounds 45-130, and a single-ball string adapter with a set of Rotosound roundwounds 35-120 already attached (however these strings are really light so you will need to do a setup if you want to use those).

For our friends outside of the 48, let me know and I will get you a quote, and split the shipping cost with you evenly.

If you have something nice I might be open to a trade (plus cash, if necessary). I'm not really interested in a bass of lesser value.
