StingRay5 '98 in honeyburst Alnico pickup Maple neck (I don't believe there is a fingerboard but some of you more familiar with this stuff could prove me incorrect) Marvel strap locks All original (except strap locks) Looking for a 5 string jazz of similar value. Would settle for a 5 string p or pj of similar value.

Sweet bass... unfortunately, it's going to be tough finding a 5-string P or PJ with similar used value as an SR5. For some reason, the lefty market is almost completely devoid of 5-strings in that price range. G&L and Carvin... maybe a MIJ Fender... I can't even think of anything else. |

Why is it that 99% of bass reviews are slapping only? Play finger style or with a pick like 90% of all songs require so we can hear what the bass really sounds like. I feel like it's the equivalent of guitar players metal shredding. Note: 42.6% of all statistics are made up on the spot. |

Now, another scientifically proven stat: A bassist has 87.4% more chances to get fired from his band when he/she slaps his bass without being asked to do so.. |

To adopt an old golf adage... You slap for show and pick for dough. |
