Selling my 1993 Ken Smith Chuck Rainey 5 string. It has the maple body wings with a walnut core, gold hardware and the Smith BT preamp. Comes with a gigbag. Price $1500

I remember reading something about this a LONG time ago. I think the configuration you see in this bass used to be the standard, and at some point the reversed it (3 on top, 2 at the bottom) but I think it remains an option, so you can choose how you want it if you order a new one. . .

This is all from my very foggy memory. It may be all completely false. :)
