I am putting this bass up on the bay soon. I would prefer to sell it here so here's your chance to get a nice upright sounding bass in a 34" scale. Its unlined but pretty easy to play. The side dots are directly over where the fret would be instead of in between the frets. I prefer this actually. I have upgraded it to all black hardware (originally silver) that I purchased from the Carvin Factory in Sacramento. The knobs, jack plate are Carvin and the strap locks are dunlop. The tuners are brand new Gotoh's. Killer tuners and never goes out of tune. The strings are LaBella Tapewound and I will include an extra new set. You can play this acoustically of amplified. It gets the tradition upright tone with ease. The bass is a whopping 6LBs. the Case is G&G and in good shape.
The tortoise binding and mixed wood backing is no longer made. They use different binding and solid backs now. This one is unique. I am unsure what year it is but was made in 2000+. Carvin would know.
