I am debating putting this bass up for sale. It was completed and shipped 2 months ago to me. There is NOTHING wrong with it. I waited a year for the build. Thing in my life are changing and I have WAY too many basses. This bass is killer but its not getting the play it deserves.

Left handed
Walnut top with matching headstock
black vaneer on back of headstock
Birdseye Maple fingerboard
Ash Body with straight grain
Ash neck with straight grain
24 fret upgrade
Hipshot hardware and bridge saddles adjusted to 18.5mm per Mike's factory (my specs)
Bartolini Pickups in left handed orientation
Bartolini 918 preamp
9lbs/13oz
- glow in the dark side dots

$3500 Shipped COnUS Lower48 Only

It would cost on the street near 5k for these specs

Those 535 MTD's are some of the heaviest sounding basses I have ever heard. Erika Badu's bass player uses one. It sounds amazing.

OMFG is quite accurate. What a bass, man. I had an incredible 535 a few years back, and it still in my top 3 favorite basses of all time. What a tone monster and probably the best B string in the business.

A couple more shots. This guy is going up on the bay and local shops very soon. Need to pay off some bills and this guy needs to get played, not sit in a case. I have a custom true lefty case that Mike sent me recently. Its badass. It will be included. Street with these specs and upgrades would be $5500.

Ok... This guy is going up on the sale block when I return next week. I don't want to ship around the holidays so its going up on Reverb, eBay (last) and a few other sites. Its a freaking great bass, I just can't have it sit in a case anymore and not get played. I have 5 gigger basses and they get played. I no longer care about a boutique bass in my arsenal and bills are beginning to stack up along with personal crap.

If you have any serious interest, ping me privately here. I also have a true lefty case for it that Mike sent me. The case in the pics has been sent back to Mike. The new one is WAY BETTER and true lefty orientation.

Thanks for looking.

Getting close to Reverb.com and eBay. Need to fund home improvements and already have 12 basses. It's a bad-ass MTD 535/24 but sad bad as it is, not getting played is a shame. I only have so many arms and my current gigging situations call for my Spector's. Also Michael raised his prices so they are just going to be nuts to get one of these for a fair price ESPECIALLY left handed. He's only built a a handful of lefties.

Here is a fresher shot inside the custom made MTD case I got from Michael T.

Too many to count. Let's just say not enough time to play them all.
