I bought this a few months ago here and it scratched my itch for a bass, but I need to raise some funds for a new guitar. Its a pretty sweet bass, better than anything you'll get from the name brands for the price, especially as a lefty. Here are the specs: Allparts body, Musikraft neck. Nitro finish on both. Vintage style Fender tuners, vintage style bridge, as well as bridge and pickup covers. Hipshot detuner on the E string. Pickup is a Joe Barden P-style. Sounds great. The set up work (fret dressing, strobing...etc) and assembly was professionally done by Ed Beaver in Nashville. The whole thing feels and sounds like a nice, worn in instrument. Nice and comfy, just like an old P bass should be. Sounds awesome with flats, sounds great with rounds (currently sporting D'addario XL nickel wound rounds). It's in pretty good shape, there are some fine scratches in the nitro finish, and there's some finish chipping at the neck pocket. There is a seventies style Fender logo on the headstock, but this is NOT a Fender. It is a very nice parts bass. I'm asking $500 or best offer shipping included in the US. I'll ship it in a double gig bag. I've got a set of Fodera nickel strings I can throw in as well.
I'm serious about offers. I need to sell this to finish paying off my new guitar, so I'm motivated to sell. It's a great bass made with top quality parts and professionally assembled and setup, for about what you'd pay for a mexican Fender P bass, IF Fender made MIM Lefty P-basses, which they don't!
