Up for sale is my made in Korea Squier Precision bass. I had to try one of these, and it does have that classic P-bass sound. Quite versatile, even with the single p/u! As far as I know, it is all original. Made somewhere around 1996-1997. Currently strung and setup inverted with D'addario Super Lights 040/060/075/095 flat wounds[ECB80]. I will include a new set of [EXL220TP] D'addario Super Light round wounds in case you want to restore the setup. The nut will slide out so you can reverse it.
This will include a Musician's Friend standard bass black hardshell case.
There are only 3 blemishes and one very small scratch in the finish on the upper rear bout that I could not get to show in a photo. #1 is a chip came out of the fret board above the nut during conversion. The piece was lost. It does not go all the way to the bottom of the slot for the nut, and does not affect playing or stability of the nut at all. #2 & #3 are small deep dings in the upper face of the instrument above the pick guard, and can be seen in one photo. They look like they depressed the finish, but did not chip it.
This is a great sounding and great playing bass!
I have been playing a medium scale Epi viola bass, and though I enjoyed the sound of this one, after playing it for a week, I had a lot of pain in my hands, and cannot continue playing it.
