Hey slybass,I'm not sure I understand your question.

I'm assuming he's wondering how difficult it is to switch the strings back to "standard" order... low B on top, C on bottom.

I'm also curious as to whether F Bass necks are asymmetrical... since this is a righty neck on there, is the actual neck profile backwards, or is it only the headstock that's reverse?

Okay, now I see! From the look and feel of the neck I would say only the headstock is different. However I will verify that with George Furlanetto or Donovan Bankhead(Fretspot). As far as making it a true lefty, the nut may have to be removed and flipped around if that's possible and I say that due to the gauge of the strings, especially the B and E strings.

This is exactly what I was talking about meaning that the nut is the place to flip.

But is this model really a right-handed bass mainly?

Would it be possible to measure the width at the top nut, the 12th fret and the last fret? And the spacing between the strings at the bridge please?

I have a custom 6 but it is really big and hard to play and would like to compare the specs before.

Thanks

Nut Width-54mm (2 1/8")
Width at Last Fret -93.5mm (3 11/16”)
Fingerboard Radius -10" - 16"
Scale Length - 34.5"
Number of Frets- 24
I did get a reply from George Furlanetto on the neck and he stated that it's a true lefty neck with right-handed head stock.I got the numbers above off their website.I didn't see the measurement at the 12th fret though but I can still get that for you when I get home this afternoon. The neck is rather wide but,to me the feel is incredible and as I stated before, with that low action just melts in your hands! It's funny because I have small hands, but I prefer wide spacing on my 6s.

If you can measure at the 12th fret and the string spacing at the bridge I'll appreciate .
