FS: Februari 1980 Ibanez Roadster RS 924 TVL (top of the line, handbuilt @ Fujigen factory)

For my fellow lefties around the globe, I offer my Roadster.

It's P, it's J, it's 24 frets, it's fat, it's glorious, it's clear. Records like a sweet vintage dream (through my Monique). Straight neck, 10lbs of tone. A few chips, yes, but nothing weird after 40 years.
But I'm parting with it, due to my playing style, which is exclusively live. For which I use my Sadowsky PJ more often.

Ash body, maple neck and fingerboard. Working active circuit, no modifications whatsoever.

Strung with 1 year old Dunlop Bright Nickels. The original case is included (the brown one with the funky green fur).

See sales sheet for specs.

USD 750 (ex.fees, ex.global shipping)

That's gorgeous. If I could, I'd snap it up today. Good luck. Whoever gets it will have a beautiful bass.

Have to say... for a split 2nd, when I saw the back plate, and saw those two tiny screws, I thought "there's no Way they can hold that neck on!"... then my rational brain kicked in and said "ok, obviously it's a cover for the Big Screws that are anchoring the neck to the body..." funny how the mind works; especially in lefties....

Haha, there is certainly that 70-80's vibe, where more things were more or less as fluffy!

In the beginning of owning this bass, I have to say, I wondered the same and HAD to check behind this patent plate! 8-)

If someone here ends up buying this bass, I’d like to say that I would be interested in the case to use with my Ibanez Musician. I figure it’s a long shot, just wanted to put that out there. :)
