Reducing my basses :(
I have no place and no use for all of them so i'm passing along this other one.
Overall in mint condition and light signs of use but nothing bad enough to point out.
This bass has the active tone pump trim cut preamp installed like the Euro 4LX and i ordered the original knobs for it and a brass nut.
$800 plus shipping.

My 4-yr old daughter is on my lap (bed time tends to drag out these days).

"You like that guitar, don't you daddy?"

"Yes, Sweetie. Very much :) "

You know, I had my heart broken today. It's going to need some time with the chocolate ice cream and Sex and the City reruns before it's ready to jump back into the bass game.

You know, Tim, speaking of heartbreak, a guy I know once told his son, "the best way to get over a girl is to get under a girl." Basses are no different. Are you picking up what I am lying down?

That guy is also named Tim, by the way. Coincidence? I will let you decide.

That being said, Rickenbackers are indeed very much like love: the fake may feel good and you may be sad to let it go, but you will know the real thing when it is in your hands and there is nothing else like it.

I never really "got" what a Rick is capable of until I ran it stereo a few times in my college band. We used to call it the "Piano of Doom". You get all the bottom and all the top in total a**kicking mode.

I also have the a Spector case i was saving for another purchase but since i'm downsizing i will let it go with this bass. The case is molded so the bass won't be moving around and it is in vg condition.
Gonna try to sell it a little higher out there but for the board members 750 plus shipping.
