Very nice looking, playing, and sounding left-handed Custom RIC style 6 string bass (handmade by a local guitars/basses builder). It's in really nice condition. It has very little playwear- a few light indents on the side and on the headstock - barely visible- and that's about it. All the electronics work fine. The bass has a very smooth and easy playing neck and great feel. The balance is absolutely superb sitting or standing.

Features:
Color: 2-tone Sunburst
Body: Swamp ash, bolt-on neck
Number of frets: 24
Neck wood: Laminated maple neck, quarter sawn, walnut wings on headstock, angled back headstock
Neck adjustment: Dual action truss rod
Fingerboard material: Maple
Neck width at top-nut: 2 1/8"
Neck width at 24th fret: 3 1/2"
Scale length: 34"
Preamp: Active, 18V
Controls : Volume, Blend, Treble, Mid, Bass
Bridge : Gold Hipshot type A, 17mm string spacing at bridge, string though body or top load
Tuners: Gold Hipshot Ultralite
Nut : Brass nut

Comes with a Gator hardshell case.
Weighs 10.5 lbs
Made in Canada.

Value of $2800 new
Asking $1000 + shipping ($75 to Canada and $100 to US)

It looks like a Rickenbacker bass, but it's not a real one! That bass was custom build by a local luthier from Montreal. Basically, I tried to combine Fender specs and Rickenbacker look, also including a modern sound from active pickups. So, the result is a one of a kind bass!

We can close/delete this thread now. I changed my mind and decided to keep that bass.

Thanks!

Hello Sec-Def,

I'm actually thinking about selling this bass. But I'm not in a hurry for selling this bass and I don't want to give it away. So I'm pricing it according to what it's worth for me to let it go, and that's $1000. I'll post new pictures of it (since it has a new pickguard and new pickups). I just installed a brand new set of D'Addario strings on it.

Also, It will be free shipping for US (continental) and Canada only !

Thanks
