Ibanez Musician MC924 – Left Handed

This is a classic bass from the 1980s which I have had from new. MC924s were used by Sting and Adam Clayton of U2 at various times. The MC924, with its through the body neck, is regarded by many as one of the best basses of its time and is still much sought after. It has a great sound.

The bass is in good condition with one or two small dings as you’d expect for a bass of its age. The S/N is D804580 which indicates it was built in 1980.

It’s quite heavy at 4.5 kg.

I am selling it for £300 (€360) + carriage. These basses would normally sell for quite a bit more. It comes with a pretty standard bass case: not an Ibanez one.

I live in the UK in the Scottish Borders.

If you are interested at all please get in touch with me and I can supply more photos and information.

Are you shipping to the US? If so, how much would shipping cost?

Great price! If I didn't already own one, I would definitely want this :)

There's one more in the UK, but at almost twice the price and local pickup only:
