I'm making some room for other gear and need to sell off some of my basses. First one (to kinda test the waters and see if anyone is interested) is a Jazz bass built from aftermarket parts. The body is a Fender body-don't know the year, but it is a Mexican made. The neck is a Musikraft 20 fret J neck with a rosewood board with a bone nut, imitation clay dot position markers and a 9.5 fingerboard radius. The bass is finished in Black (with a matching headstock) in nitro lacquer. Fender vintage bridge, not sure of the make of the tuners, the pups are Lindy Fralin PFB# vintage Jazz bass pickups and the wiring pots and controls are the J bass passive with series parallel switch (2 independent volume controls, 1 master tone with a push/pull pot for series/parallel switching)
That's pretty much it. I've had the bass a few months. Just had a set up done on it and it plays great. I'd really like to get $450 for it.

Not at the moment, but I will certainly take some this weekend and post them. I took them with my phone (as you can tell!!) and I know they're pretty crappy...sorry about that.
I'll post new ones as soon as I can.

Hi Tom! Well, I'm glad to see you are alive and well. How's Nashville? What kind of gear are you using these days?
As of now, I have 14 basses, three are Edwards basses, building another 5 right now.

I have a good friend from New Jersey, that just moved there after living in Reno, then Van Nuys, California. He's a damn good bassist, he's righty.....lol! .... and a flight instructor.

Hey Dave, Nashville has been very kind to me. I'm doing really well here. What's your friends name? Maybe I know him.
As for gear, I currently have about 10 electric basses and 2 uprites. I still use the Kolstein bass as my main uprite but I recently purchased a Shen SB80 laminate bass that I really love. It's a fully converted lefty uprite and has a great
'gut string" tone to it (without having to actually use gut strings!) real thumpy and dark sounding. As for electric basses, mostly early to mid 70's Fender's (both P and J's) but I recently picked up a Lakeland Joe Osborne 4 string from a member here. It's a great bass and I'm really happy with it. My only 5 string at the moment is a Sadowsky NYC vintage J 5 string which kills any 5 string I've ever played. It's my main studio bass and I'm in process right now of ordering a 4 string version of it from Sadowsky. That's about it for basses. Hope you're well and tearing it up as usual!!

Hi Tom! His name is Rob Toma. He will likely be looking for an upright teacher...he studied in Ca., with Putter Smith. I think he also might be attending the local jam nights. He's a real bassist- meaning, he plays solid, tastefully and correctly. Not sure what electrics he has now- might have a custom Shop '60's Jazz, or P-bass. I know he has an Upton string bass- plywood, but those basses are really nice, and American made. He moved there a few months ago.
