Hey everyone-
Up for grabs is my 1977 Lefty Fender P Bass, with mods. THIS IS A PLAYER'S BASS!!!
This bass is amazing. It has been my main touring bass for a while now, and it always gets compliments from FOH, fellow players, and session engineers alike on it's sound. Seriously. Original parts of the bass: body, neck, tuners, F plate. Aftermarket parts: bridge, pickguard, pickups, preamp, knobs. Again, this is a PLAYER'S bass, not a collector's bass. A previous owner routed for a neck jazz pickup, but was never used, and the pickguard covers it. The pickups are Barts, and the preamp is a Bart TC1, and these were installed some time ago. The controls are neck vol/bridge vol/treble/bass/3-way pickup selector. Also, the same owner had the finish on the back of the neck removed, and it now has what feels like a thin killer patina laquer on it. It feels great. The front of the headstock has darkened over the years, and has a really nice patina as well.
Again, this bass plays and sounds amazing. It is a true player's bass, and the price reflects this. Everything functions as should, including the trussrod, which is flush and functions properly.
Please see pics on ebay listing. or if someone could help me list them on here, that would be great!
