Can someone help i have bought a bass from California but i need to find a reasonable priced shipping company to get it to Queensland Australia. It's a long bass a TBird in a hard case and about 32 lbs. Ups wanted $1000 US to ship it
. I found a company called Parcelmonkey but know nothing about them. Is it possible to ship through a guitar store or maybe even Reverb although i didnt buy through them or does anyone know a better way to ship.
If someone from California is travelling to Manila in the next few weeks (i'll be there then) maybe i can pay them something to take it as checkin baggage and get it off them there (just a thought)
Any help would be appreciated.
