Neat! I have never seen a double-neck with two different fretboards before. Other than that, what is the difference? |

It's actually a pretty comfortable bass to play, bright and punchy with Fodera strings. But, yeah, the bass in the case is pretty heavy. The top neck is a piccolo bass on which I play some guitar/keyboard parts, i.e. the second guitar part that comes in at the beginning of Journey's Stone in Love, then I use an A-B switch to switch necks. pete |

The headstocks are awesome! Are they painted, or laminated images? Beautiful bass! |

Hey Pete, I finally dug mine out. Imagine a small car with a carrying handle! It was built by a good friend who owns a company called "Hot Rod Road Cases"

Hi Pete, Yes and no on it being a Spector. Now the necks came from my friend PJ at Spector. He was full aware of my plans to build a double neck and I did send him pictures of the finished bass. I explained that because the necks will be Spector, I would build the body in the Spector style in the Spector method of construction. When I finished I did receive the approving thumbs up......so, long story longer.... Yes and no. |
