Rock on! I love the Tiny Desk concerts. Favorites are Tedeschi Trucks and Booker T. Many other good ones, also, but I replay those two a lot. http://www.npr.org/2016/03/24/471725403 ... sk-concert http://www.npr.org/event/music/13584063 ... sk-concert |

I am always annoyed by people who complain about the lack of great and innovative contemporary music - Those who lament "it was much better before blablabla" - They definitely don't listen to the Tiny Desk. You'll find of a lot of exciting musicians and bands if you know where to find them and if you keep an open mind. |

We have front row tix for Tedeschi Trucks. Dead center between Derek and Susan. And within spittin' distance of Timothy Lefebvre . Strike one more off the bucket list! |

Excellent show. I don't listen to it enough but I did discover one of my favorite new bands on it, The Family Crest. Amazing musicians: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w03fvBSmWOo |

Love the Tiny Desk. Another way I find new music is through Amoeba's "What's In My Bag?" series on YouTube. I also have access to a great library, and while watching those Amoeba videos, I'll search the library's catalog online, fill up my request list with CDs, and go check them out the next day. |
