after being stalked on Wed afternoon, a reunion commenced during the NAMM Show. hard to believe two years has passed since I last got to chat in person with Marc. Bro - it was stellar to get to chat all too briefly with you this year. thankfully it was before my voice went out on Sat afternoon Attachment: AzWhoFan_MarcB_NAMM2016.png [ 1006.2 KiB | Viewed 3662 times ] my biz partner Marc M (red shirt) and long-time friend Tere Q (who schooled us on the ways of NAMM for our first show) early on NAMM Day 1 Attachment: RB-MM-TQ_NAMM2016.jpg [ 205.05 KiB | Viewed 3662 times ] and our incredible 2016 NAMM Show booth staff (minus Rich, who took the image) - without these awesome guys, exhibiting at NAMM would be absolutely impossible. their tireless dedication and personal sacrifices totally astound me without ceasing Attachment: RGW_HB_BoothTeamMinusRich_NAMM2016.png [ 1.22 MiB | Viewed 3662 times ] sadly, NAMM 2016 marks the first year that we were without at least one lefty bass in the booth. this was a purely economic decision that runs contrary to my heart. if people were buying lefty basses, I'd have them at the show. based on inquiries this show, lefty basses will remain as an available no-charge custom order option on models where the CAD/CAM work is already completed on. I'm on the fence for including lefty versions on new models without a very minimal buyer quantity commitment. it's driven purely by available time weighed against incoming orders, and something that stings a bit to be in the position of having to make such a business decision. I'm not fishing for orders by sharing this, but instead transparently sharing with a group of friends whom I cherish. all the best, R |

Thanks for posting these pics Rod, great to see them/you. I hope NAMM went well for you, I'm sure it's a stressful/fun time for an exhibitor. |
