I'm heading to San Jose next week for work, I wonder if there are some lefty friendly guitar & bass stores around there?

Any fine place worth visiting, as an European guy? ;)

I would have been happy to meet you my friend but I just moved. Now, Guitar Showcase has a nice Rickenbacker 4003 (it is where they display the vintage gear) and sometimes has some cool used lefty basses. Actually they sell the Ric for $1995. You could buy it and re-sell it in France for $2300 Euros. LoL. They do have a good amount of nice electric and acoustic (upstairs) guitars if you do play guitar. Compared to France instruments are much cheaper.
The owner is considered as one of the largest vintage guitar collector in the world. Btw. He has a few lefty 1960's Strats and used to have a 1966 Hofner.
If you need something ask for Melanie and tell her Philippe the French guy sent you.

The largest and fanciest lefty bass collection in San Jose is definitely my friend Gravesbass'. His MTD is a great deal if you want to bring back a bass.

Envoie moi un PM si tu as des questions sur les truc sympas a visiter. Ciao!

Thanks! Not sure it's a good idea though, your MTD is gorgeous but way out of my league :( Even if we can arrange a trade, which I doubt.
But I'll contact you by mp, it's nice if we can meet ;)

Thanks, Guitar Showcase was already on my list. I've just sold my 4003 for 1900euros so I won't buy another one but I'll try to check it anyway ;)
