Anyone in the greater Seattle area have access to a ---LEFTY--- 50's, 60's, or early 70's Fender P or J bass that would be willing to allow it to participate in a short photo shoot? I'm not looking for a pristine museum piece (but it would be OK if it was), but it should be an original (preferably not too visibly modified) and not a re-issue version. You will be able to do all of the physical handling if you choose This bass will join a righty '65 P and a '67 Ampeg fliptop amp for the photo shoot. If all goes to schedule, everything should be completed within an hour If you know of a bass that would like to join this photo opportunity, please contact me off-list. The photo session date is not yet set, so there is great flexibility to work with your available schedule. Thanks for any assistance you can provide! all the best, R |

I don't plan to go to Seattle anytime soon Rod, but if Steve heads down over the holidays you can borrow my '73 P for the photo shoot. That's the bass at the top of the forum, and it's very much NOT in pristine condition, though it is all original (save a refret and I have a Fralin in it now, but I have the original if you wanna swap them for the shoot). |
