Post subject: | Weighted bass strap |
Does anyone remember seeing a post either here or TalkBass about a strap that counteracts heavy weight and neck dive through the insertions of tiny counterweights on the back? I've been looking on the forums and Google but I must not be putting the right data in. Does this strap actually exist or am I dreaming? |

Damian Erskine's duo strap serves the same purpose, although through a different method. http://www.gruvgear.com/duostrap-signature |

Thanks - that wasn't it though. This one was a conventional looking wide black strap, with little pockets to put the counterweights in. I think... |

It was called the "Heads Up Strap". Unfortunately, it looks like they might be defunct. Can't find their site on the ol' google box. I made one of these for myself with some black duct tape and some weights I got from a surplus place. Works great. |

Thanks Jay - that's it! The lack of appearance on Google also reassures me that I wasn't imagining things. I'll look for one on Ebay or something. |
