he was born in 1944 which would have made him around 69 years old. Still, these days that's still way too young to pass. |

Bought a Tokai strat w/ Kubicki neck in 1983... Then a year later ordered a left handed Kubicki P-Bass neck... To this day still my best sounding unamplified bass. |

Really sad! Seeing John Taylor at Live Aid on TV was one of my seminal "I want to do that" moments and I distinctly remember being fascinated by his bass, which was a Kubicki.
