Sounds like all he's gotten so far is a slap on the wrist - ... "He was given a six-month sentence suspended for 18 months, 200 hours of unpaid work and told to pay £2,500 in court costs." Although the article at the end also mentioned this- ... "Following their sentence the pair now face and investigation under the Proceeds of Crime Act." In the meantime, the original owner from Italy has likely lost most of his collection for ever.... sad.... |

I just got through a long online forum battle with Mr. Harrison, Junior. He has the famous "Presentation Bass" that was presented to Paul McCartney in 1964, but Paul never took possession of it. Many years later, it fell into Justin's hands, and he's been trying to sell it as "Paul's Bass" for nearly twenty years. He wants six figures for a bass Paul saw one day. Even though the Harrisons have been convicted of dealing in stolen guitars, people still sing the praises of Music Ground. I was at their series of shops on Denmark Street in London a month or so ago. Nothing there that wowed me. And the typical snooty staff that don't acknowledge you. |
