You do realize that's the mobile site, correct?
On that note, I don't know how you got to the mobile site from a desktop, but it's not meant for desktop viewing. That layout is for eReaders and phones

I was accessing Amazon this morning in search of some home recording literature, when this new monstrosity of a page layout came up. I actually the page hadn't fully loaded, so I reloaded it a few times and even rebooted Firefox to see if it would improve. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/024081580 ... 486&sr=1-7 Like Harmony Central before it, Amazon's threatening to destroy their perfectly functional prior design layout with a new look that's nowhere near as user-friendly as it once was. When I'm browsing a product/site, I want full information at my disposal right there on the main page. I don't want to have to click on multiple sub menus just to get a #$%ing product description! The good news (for now) is you can still access the old layout via a link at the bottom of each listing under, "Amazon.com Full Site", but the question remains how long will this be accessible before they eliminate it all together? |

look like a WIP to me. Not that I was in love with the old site and the limitations on how many items per page it displayed |

No. I don't even own a mobile device. If I type in http://www.amazon.com (home page) and then enter ANY product description in the search area and click on the product link I get that layout. Maybe it's temporary, maybe not. It's happening on my laptop as well as iMac. |

It's working normally for me now. Musta been a bug on the Amazon side. |
