Collins is an OEM brand of Musik-Produktiv, a large music store in Ibbenbüren, Germany. They're cheap, but appear to be well-made. I played one of their Jazz Basses when I visited Musik-Produktiv once. It was alright, similar to a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass in terms of quality. The brand is still available through that store, but apparently they no longer stock basses: http://www.musik-produktiv.de/collins.aspx |

I forget, they also had this pretty cool bass with neck through body which is very decent looking. There's one on Arni's site (and on eBay at the same time) right now, it's called the B-master. This one's in Ireland right now: Link. I was never able to lay my hands on one, but they sure look alright. |
