hey guys, i was at a garage sale yesterday and picked up around 20 or so great bass books on the cheap, 8 bucks for all of them, they include 3 real books, the ron carter complete bass lines book (it looks pretty old, i think its out of print since the examples list the audio track as side one and two and i googled it and coudnt find a current one) anyway, one of the books i picked up was the latin bass book and it dosent have the cd to go with it, does anyone know where i can get the audio from?

for those curious here is a list of the books i picked up

Berklee Bass Practice Method
Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten: Bass Extremes
Concepts for Bass Soloing
Jazz Studio, Improvisation for Bass
Real books volume 1 editions 5 and 6
Real book volume 2 edition 6
Rufus Reid Complete Aberosold basslines
The Improvisors Bass Method
Ron Carter Complete bass lines
The Latin Bass book
Jeff Berlin's Comprehensive Chord Tones
Rufus Reid's the Evolving Bassist
Berklee Jazz Improv Method in bass clef
6 aberosolds
the Complete Bass Lines of Stanley Clarke
Fret Board Harmony, Gary Willis
Ear Training for guitar and bass, Gary Willis (luckily this one had a cd)
Bob Crenshaw Complete Abersold basslines
superchops4bass-slap edition

Is it the latin bass book with 3 cds?

Sher Music you should contact. The best book on the subject imho.

Congrats! The Ron Carter book is blue and red with his face on it?

Btw, you've picked up a lot of classics there

the latin bass book is indeed from sher so i guess ill be shooting them an email, as for the ron carter book, it is black and green with his face on it, it says its copyrighted by jamey aberosold but its not from any aberosold series and lists it as songs from his albums as a leader

After working through all those books, you'll be at least Jaco Pastorius!

Score indeed, I've never even thought to look for anything bass related at a garage sale, since it never happens. :(

It was pure luck that I found those, I was driving back from lunch with my woman when we saw the sign for a garage sale and decided it was a nice day for bargain hunting. I was looking at comic books (I'm a comic nerd...there I admit it) when my girlfriend asked me what a real book was and when I went over to look there was a whole table of bass/music books. I was only going to buy two of the real books but me and the guy running it got to talking about music bass ect and he was basically like "you seem pretty serious about bass, I've had a garage sale for the past three weekends and not one of the music books have gotten sold, how much cash you got on you?" I told him $8 "ok then 8 it is, theyre yours" me: "which ones?" him "all of them, some of the cds are missing so brush up on youre reading"
