Hi My name is Pon. I'm from Thailand. Nice to meet you all. I'm going to play bass with lefty bass, but the problem is that I rarely find the lefty bass to buy in affordable price. If I want to buy a lefty bass,All I have to do is to make an import order with the manufacturer's authorized dealer. Unfortunately, some dealers ask me to order at least 6 or a dozen of lefty basses
Finally, I found 2 brands that allow to order just only a lefty bass: Fender(Mexico) and Schecter. I've also found that the cheapest lefty model of Schecter is half-priced of the Fender!!!! The model is schecter stiletto deluxe-4. I'm going to make an order for a lefty deluxe-4 on Monday 25 Jan.
Many bass players who are my friends pointed out the disadvantages of playing lefties
1.There're few models and colors for me to choose. 2 brands 2 models 3 colors.
2.I have to carry my own bass every time I go with the band.
3.There's no substitute bass if my bass is broken.
As I've mentioned above, You'll see how hard to practice lefty bass in Thailand.
So I want to ask you the question.
Should I play flipped over RH bass?????
Regards,
Pon
