Dont' know if this is the right forum for this, but here goes-
I found a web site that helped me learn how to play a song (Pump It Up by Elvis Costello - could not get the chorus right - playing all the right notes, but the rhythm - no). Here's the link:

http://www.how-to-play-bass.com/index.html

It's done by Paul Wolfe from London, some free stuff and some you have to pay for. It's supposed to be for beginners, I found it helpful even though I am not one (says more about my skill level than the site). He has YouTube Videos breaking down songs - his technique was a little sloppy on Pump It Up which I found charming (less intimidating for us hackers) - alot of good info though. There is a testimonial from a lefty bass player on there who says he likes the site - so there's the tie in to here! Just thought I'd pass it along.
