Though born in England, my ancestors are Scottish. As I post this the time is a minute past midnight, and in keeping with the Scottish tradition of First Footing, I come bearing gifts of coal, shortbread and whisky.

And another one from the Netherlands (and hungover too, but just finished showering): a very good and musically rich 2010!

Had a great party tonight at a jazz cafe in Delft, in 1920's atmosphere. I could not find a hat that fit my rather large head, so I had to settle for the fake moustache and fake cigar instead, and got a lot of positive responses :lol:

Didn't notice the ones on the cheeks - I just assumed that was the rosey-cheeked hue of large scale alcohol consumption... :lol:
