....42 year old boy that is. 8-)

I've just joined the forum, posted on the Bass thread, and thought I'd visit the Leftorium to remind you all how BRILLIANT left handers are.

I find that, compare to right handers, I could call myself ambidextrous. I can use the computer mouse with either hand, in fact I use my right exclusively now - even better than my left!

I'm a Beatles Nut, so it goes without saying I think McCartney is GOD. And I have a Ric, a Hofner, and share his real first name (James).

OK, so glad to be here :D

I just noticed that the P-Bass at the top of the Forum pages in Left Handed but appears to be strung upside down.

I know of a lefty in Texas who has a mighty L/H collection, but ALL strung and played R/H

Each to their own

the Texan I know plays in a Beatles cover and a Rutles cover band (Beatles take off) ...he also owns a Bass once owned/used by Dee Murray (Elton John band, 70's + 80's). I've talked to him via Harmony Central. Nice bloke -Same guy?

AustinLeftyBass ...he he ...like Austin Powers ( left hand = power!)

Could be the same guy, he does play in a Beatles cover band. I'd have to think that's more than coincidence.

Welcome, Jim!

Well, there's at least 2 leftys in Texas who play like that.

There's also Lug, who's very well known on the HCBF site. And he sucks. :D

Sigh. I wish I could wear a suit when I play. But I'm always a sweaty mess by the end of the night.
