I know it’s easy to rag on the wishbass world, and I try not to, but I can’t always help myself when they make claims like this:

“After over 2600 basses sold world-wide, we wish to make the following claim. "These are without a doubt the best sounding basses on this planet. And they are about 10% of the price of Boutique Basses." The way we can do this is to sell direct, and use a simple minimal finish. If you can dig it, we can supply you a great sounding bass, real reasonable.”

This one intrigued me, as it’s not a bass, and although it’s listed as a lefty, I’m not convinced- how do you manhandle this?

It's a lefty harpguitar, but he didn't think it through properly. You're supposed to be able to play the bass strings with your thumb while fingerpicking the guitar strings, but he positioned them a bit too far from the low E. Most harp guitars have the bass "neck" almost parallel to the regular guitar neck so you can actually reach them. The Wish is basically unplayable.

Anyone wanna shock the bass world and stick that name on an actually decent bass?

They need to do a documentary on that company. I want to know the story.
