Hi, folks !!

I know all of you are quite far from my country, but you never know.... maybe anyone of you could be here on holydays in that time.

Next december, we´ll have an interesting bassplayers meeting in Madrid. Hundreds of basses to see, hear and play (I recon there will be not many lefthand basses :( ) , clinics, shows, and live perfomances.

Marcus Miller will be there, and so Hadrien Feraud.

Other bassist who have confirmed their assistance are:

Pepe Bao (Amazing spanish bass player)
Jonas Hellborg
Alain Perez (Bassist with Paco de Lucia and MarkBass endoser)
Charlie Moreno ( Elrick and EBS endoser)

...and a few more...

So, if for some strange reason you are in Madrid that day.... It would be a pleasure to see you there.

The place is not very big, which I think is great, because you feel more intimate with the famous bassist there.... all mixed together, nothing like in big concerts where you can hardly see them miles away from you....

King regards!!

I love Pepe Bao. O'Funk'illo is a great band. Do they still exist?

Unfortunetly they don´t ..... Now Pepe is playing with "Obús", a very old hard rock band... they had their best moment back in the 80´s .... I´ve never liked them too much...

He also has his own band, (they are coming to the Bass-day too) and they play flamenco/fusion, funk, some blues.....

But, as you say, O´funkillo was great.... it surprised me you know them.....
